2018 Tournament Field of Players

2018 Tournament Dates
Friday & Saturday, August 3rd & 4th (Practice Rounds Thursday, August 2nd)

Format: All players will play 18-holes of stroke play on Friday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 4th at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey. Official starting times and schedule of play will be announced via the Liberty National Junior Invitational website. There will be an awards ceremony and trophy presentation following the conclusion of play on Sunday at approximately 2:00pm.

Divisions and Eligibility: There will be a Boys (players 18 years of age & younger) and Girls Championship Division (players 18 years of age & younger). All players must be an amateur golfer as defined by the USGA, and must not have entered their first year of college.

Entry Criteria and Field Size- The tournament field of 75 players will be selected based on resume and competitive accomplishments.

Exemptions & Invitations- The Boys Champion of the Liberty National Junior Invitational will receive an automatic invitation to the South Beach International Amateur (Miami, Florida). The Boys and Girls Champion of the Liberty National Junior Invitational will receive an automatic invitation to the 2017 Northern Junior Championship (Hamden, Conn. - August 7th - 9th).

Championship Schedule:

Thursday, August 2nd- Official practice rounds

Friday, August 3rd- First round of stroke play (Tee times 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. off #1/#10 tees)

Saturday, August 4th- Final round of stroke play. Awards ceremony and trophy presentation immediately following play. (8:00 a.m. Shotgun Start)
